Early Life and Career

Cori "Coco" Dionne Gauff was born on March 13, 2004, in Delray Beach, Florida. She began playing tennis at the age of six and quickly rose through the junior ranks. In 2017, she became the youngest player to reach the semifinals of the US Open Junior Championships.

Professional Career

Gauff turned professional in 2018 and made an immediate impact on the WTA Tour. In 2019, she became the youngest player to reach the fourth round of a Grand Slam tournament at the Wimbledon Championships. She also won her first WTA singles title at the Linz Open.

Grand Slam Success

Gauff's biggest breakthrough came at the 2023 US Open. At the age of 19, she became the youngest player since 2009 to win a Grand Slam singles title. She defeated Iga Swiatek in the final to secure her first major championship.

Personal Life

Gauff is known for her positive attitude and her commitment to giving back to her community. She is the daughter of Corey and Candi Gauff, and she has two younger brothers. Gauff is currently in a relationship with professional basketball player Jayson Tatum.
